Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School Old Students Association (OLASS) is a tax–exempt non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code that seeks to advance the wellbeing of our alma mater. We endeavor to reconnect with all Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School (OLASS) Ijebu-ode alumni who reside in North America, so we invite all Great OLASS alumnae residing in the U.S and Canada to join us. We believe in the importance of comradery and mutual support for all members.
Every alumna has something to offer, so as we join hands we will be able to accomplish a lot. Our programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that propels our members to make significant impacts by supporting projects that improve the infrastructure our alma mater, and making significant contributions to our local communities. The Evolution of OLASSALUMUSCA.ORG
The continued decline in the structural and educational infrastructure of Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School Ijebu-ode, coupled with the lack of conducive learning environment for the young girls attending the school prompted concerned OLASS alumna in North America step up, register the association as a 501(c)(3) organization, mobilize other alumnae to join the association and participate in the Rebuilding OLASS Project. This website will create more awareness of our alumnae association and keep our donors updated on the progress of the “Rebuilding OLASS Project”.
Our future goals include continuing to increase our alumnae base in US and Canada, raising enough donations to provide scholarship opportunities to under privileged students in the U.S as well as in our alma mater, embarking upon outreaches and community services that would benefit our local communities.
OLASS MISSION STATEMENT
To encourage and maintain mutual support between all OLASS old students in the U.S. and Canada, who are interested in the wellbeing of our alma mater, Our Lady of Apostles’ Secondary School, Ijebu-ode.
OUR VISION
• To help improve the educational, living and learning infrastructure of our old school.
• To fund various programs and activities that would enhance the student's ability to pursue higher education.
• To provide need-based and merit-based scholarships for students pursuing a 4-year college degree.
• To conduct community outreaches within our local communities.
• To hold yearly reunion events and periodic fundraising activities.
